Hana Valtová is a Czech fashion designer, founder of the VALTOVA brand and a student at the Department of Fashion and Shoe Design at the University of Applied Arts in Prague (UMPRUM). Her work focuses on the application of historical research to contemporary clothing. Her admiration and respect for the tailoring craft is reflected in her collections through the precise handcrafting of each piece and the use of high-quality materials.
She successfully completed her Bachelor's degree at UMPRUM under the guidance of Prof. Liběna Rochová. Since 2015, she has completed an internship in Zuzana Kubíčková's studio, where she gained valuable experience in the fashion industry. During her studies, she worked on many projects in the Czech fashion scene, including collaboration with stylist Filip Vaněk. Her work has appeared several times on the catwalk at Mercedes Benz Prague Fashion Week as part of the UMPRUM Fashion Design Studio show. In 2024 she was a winner in the Van Graaf Junior Talent competition. And in September this year, she presented her solo collection Allure at Mercedes-Benz Prague Fashion Week
